Focus on Education & Skill Building

Learn a New Skill with Expert Guidance
In the future we aim to offer structured programs to help newcomers develop confidence and competence. We will provide beginner workshops, taster sessions, and coaching clinics where individuals can learn essential skills—from casting techniques to knot tying—in a supportive environment.

Inspire the Next Generation
We are committed to making the sport accessible to all:

• Full adult membership (16 years and over) will be set at £30 per year (when you break that down that is just 57p per week)
• Free Fishing for under 12s.
• Junior Memberships for ages 12–16 at an affordable annual rate of £15.
• Concessionary Memberships for individuals over 67 years of age at £15 per year.

We are actively organising Family Days to engage with the community, encourage youth participation, and secure the future of angling.

Environmental Stewardship

The North Staffs Angling Association proudly serves as the guardian of our local waters. We aim to be at the forefront of local conservation efforts:

• Water clean-ups.
• Habitat restoration projects.
• Promoting responsible practices like catch-and-release.

Strengthening Our Community Through Local Initiatives

We are actively seeking collaborations with a variety of partners to grow and develop our local waters sustainably. We are looking at working closely with other local partnerships, schools, Environment Agency, and the Angling Trust to achieve our shared goals.
